This holiday I missed my vacation with my colleague because I had to attend my family gathering in Banyumas - central Java. I was disappointed because it has been 2 years for waiting our trip to Jogja. Luckily, one of my relatives asked me to visit Curug Cipendok.
Curug Cipendok is a waterfall
located in Karang Tengah – Cilongok – Banyumas – Central Java. It is 92 meter,
higher than ‘Coban Rondo’, a waterfall in my hometown which its height is only
84 meter. Curug Cipendok is special for its natural view. It is surrounded by
tropical forest of Slamet Mountain. Not only located in the rural area, this waterfall is also less exposed for public. Therefore, not many people know about the
waterfall. The road of the
waterfall is full of challenging and we have to take a walk for about 500 meter
from parking area. The tricky way to reach the waterfall is paid of its beauty because the site is still unpolluted and pure.
